Online Submission Guideline
1. You can apply on-line for a fresh application (if you have never submitted the application earlier or your earlier application was rejected by the sponsoring agency)

 Please take a print out of the blank format and carefully go through the same before starting filling the application on-line.

 All fields marks with (*) are mandatory. Date fields are to be filled in the Format : mm-dd-yyyy Example: 01-25-2011

 Through this site you can submit your application on-line from anywhere. While on-line submission, the system will ask you whether you are going for final submission of your application form. If you click on 'OK' then you will not be able to make any further modifications.

 On Final Submission of the application form, a unique application Id will be generated in respect of your application which may be noted down for all further correspondence in the matter. you can take a print out of the same. (If you are  not able to print the application form then and there for any reason, you must note down the application Id . With the help of this application Id and date of birth you can re-print the application form later before last date mentioned on final submission of the application form.

 Before submission of your application on-line, please read the Guidelines carefully, particularly regarding instructions to fill Application Form. This will help you to know the information and documents required for filling the application. Apply on-line only if you are sure that you will be able to produce all the necessary documents within the stipulated time.

The last date of submission of online applications is 11.08.2017.  Candidates working in Govt. Deptt. / Autonomous organisation / PSU and fulfilling the requirements are requested to submit No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of final examination.

Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other specified categories, as per orders of the Govt. of India.  Employees of NSD are entitled to age relaxation upto 5 years.   The age limit as indicated will be reckoned as on 01.07.2017.

No TA/DA will be paid by the National School of Drama for attending the interview.  However, candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be paid 2nd  Class railway/bus fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to New Delhi and back on production of railway/bus tickets/receipts. 

Application Fee & Mode of Payment:

Application fee of Rs. 200/- for UR and Rs. 100/- for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) is to be paid online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.


Candidates are requested to submit the ORA by using any computer/laptop device not in any Mobile devices.



      Instruction

The online application can be filled up using NSD’s Recruitment website before last date of submission after which the link will be disabled. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date of submission of online application. No offline application form will be accepted by the office.
